HR Lead

About the role

The HR Lead will own the end‑to‑end execution of core HR processes for our rapidly expanding LATAM region. Reporting to the VP of HR, you will partner with regional teams to drive employee engagement, payroll, benefits, disciplinary management and HR reporting while supporting strategic workforce planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage payroll, benefits administration and employee‑engagement initiatives across LATAM.
• Oversee onboarding: draft offers, conduct new‑hire orientation, collect pre‑employment documents and ensure accurate data entry into the HR system.
• Serve as primary point of contact for new hires, handling inquiries via email, chat or call.
• Coordinate background checks using Checkmate and track completion.
• Design and implement virtual and in‑person employee engagement activities; monitor feedback and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain physical and electronic personnel files and keep HR system data up‑to‑date.
• Prepare regulatory reports and advise management on regional statutory requirements.
• Handle benefits inquiries and facilitate healthcare enrollment where applicable.
• Collaborate with the Global Engagement Lead on event budgets, vendor sourcing and logistics.

Required profile

• Strong experience in full‑cycle HR operations, especially onboarding and employee engagement.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to act as a trusted HR point of contact.
• Detail‑oriented with proven ability to manage documentation, compliance and reporting.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, multi‑market environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an HRIS (HR System) for data entry and reporting.
• Experience using Checkmate for background screening.
