HR Specialist – Employee Engagement

About the role

We are seeking an HR Specialist with a strong focus on employee engagement and wellness to join our team. The role will be based on‑site and will play a key part in shaping a positive workplace culture, improving retention and supporting the overall employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to design, implement and measure employee engagement programs.
• Develop and manage wellness initiatives, including provider sourcing, budgeting and innovative activities.
• Conduct regular 1:1 check‑ins, promote communication, recognition and well‑being initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records, process termination documentation and support payroll updates.
• Draft and deliver legal documents related to role or contractual changes.
• Manage internal communication channels to highlight initiatives, events and success stories.
• Drive employee recognition programs such as peer‑to‑peer, leadership‑driven and milestone awards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with proven expertise in engagement and wellness program management.
• Strong knowledge of Colombian labor law and payroll processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and experience managing teams.
