Human Resources Business Partner

About the role
As a member of the HR team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will help build careers, nurture talent, and empower people to succeed across the supply chain. Your strategic and hands‑on approach will support business leaders in driving workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee development and organisational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to provide strategic and operational HR support.
- Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, retention and succession initiatives.
- Lead and execute employee engagement, wellbeing and retention strategies aligned with business needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and directors on people‑related challenges and organisational decisions.
- Identify risks impacting performance and develop action plans or business cases for improvement.
- Support change management, organisational development and continuous‑improvement projects.
- Facilitate talent review discussions and contribute to performance‑management processes.
- Collaborate with global and regional HR teams to ensure alignment with company practices.
- Analyse HR metrics and workforce trends to support decision‑making and recommend solutions.
- Deliver training, coaching and development initiatives for leaders and employees.
- Support employee‑relations matters and provide timely, solution‑oriented recommendations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Talent Management or a similar strategic HR role.
- Strong experience across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, retention, engagement and organisational development.
- Proven ability to partner directly with senior leaders, influence stakeholders and provide business‑focused solutions.
- Experience developing improvement plans, retention strategies and people initiatives based on business needs.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience facilitating training and development initiatives.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments and respond effectively to changing business priorities.
