Implementation Specialist - US Clients

About the role

Simetrik, an AI-native Financial Operations Control Platform founded in 2019 and a top-performing portfolio company of Goldman Sachs, is building its US chapter. As an Implementation Specialist based in Colombia, you will support Simetrik's US clients, implementing and configuring use cases centred on operational, accounting and financial reconciliations. The role involves direct client interaction and regular travel to client sites in the US.

Key responsibilities

• Implement use cases efficiently and scalably according to the proposed solution design, using AI to optimise processes.
• Deliver the project scope within agreed timelines, supporting US-based clients from Colombia.
• Carry out the hours allocated in planning sessions and report deviations to the Project Manager.
• Ensure the stabilisation of implementation logic.
• Generate and maintain clear documentation for implemented processes.
• Complete and hand over the delivery document so the client's end user can use the use case.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar position.
• Native or fluent English and a US visa valid for the next 3 years.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to the US.
• Professional in Finance, Accounting or a related field is desirable.

Required skills

• Strong AI and automation skills, able to integrate AI solutions into client implementations.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Excellent mathematical logic (entrance test required).
• Analytical, problem-solving and proactive approach, with effective communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Nice to have: reconciliation experience, SQL/database logic, startup experience, and familiarity with VB or Python.
