Incident Response Analyst

About the role

The Incident Response Analyst will support TrendAI and its customers by investigating, containing, and eradicating security incidents across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. This role combines technical incident response expertise with proactive threat hunting.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents, leading containment, eradication, and forensic analysis.
• Conduct root cause analysis and produce clear, actionable reports for technical teams and stakeholders.
• Perform proactive threat‑hunting activities to uncover adversary behavior missed by existing detections.
• Communicate timely updates to internal teams and customers, and collaborate with detection engineering and security operations to improve visibility.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of experience in incident response, forensic analysis, and security operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Availability for occasional on‑call support and after‑hours incident response.
• Willingness to travel as needed for engagements or customer support.

Required skills

• Incident response and forensic analysis techniques.

• Operating system knowledge: Windows, Linux, macOS.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
