iOS Developer (Swift)

About the role

As an iOS Developer (Swift) you will join Cognizant’s Mobile Engineering team to design, build and enhance guest‑facing mobile applications for Carnival Cruise Line. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment, delivering high‑quality features that support millions of cruise guests.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Implement new features and improve existing functionality based on user stories and business requirements.
• Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs and JSON services, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement and retrospectives.
• Conduct unit testing, code reviews, defect resolution and support releases.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, Android and backend teams, as well as client stakeholders.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience developing native iOS applications.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
• Advanced English communication skills (B2+; C1 preferred).
• Ability to work independently in a client‑facing Agile setting.
