IT Operations & Security Administrator

About the role

Trading Solutions, a boutique freight forwarder operating in more than 10 countries with headquarters in Barranquilla, Colombia, is looking for an IT Operations & Security Administrator. The role keeps the company's active clients and teams across several countries connected through secure, reliable and efficient access to its platforms and tools, while safeguarding digital assets and building the controls needed to scale.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace end-to-end: corporate accounts, licenses, permissions, shared drives and security settings.
• Manage user access: onboarding and offboarding, creating, modifying and revoking access, and maintaining credentials and identity governance.
• Provide internal IT support by resolving incidents and requests from employees.
• Maintain the technology asset inventory: computers, devices, software licenses and tech resources.
• Manage cybersecurity tools: firewalls, antivirus, antimalware, endpoint protection and MDM solutions.
• Oversee infrastructure and network operations, including connectivity, equipment and services.
• Administer cloud platforms and backup systems, including disaster recovery.
• Enforce IT policies and security standards, supporting compliance with standards such as BASC.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and drive continuous improvement and IT governance.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on IT administration experience in a business setting.
• Proven Google Workspace administration at scale.
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge and experience with firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection and access controls.
• Experience with infrastructure and network management, and familiarity with identity and access management.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Basic technical English (B1 minimum).

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft environments and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of IT frameworks such as ITIL or ISO 27001.
• Scripting or automation skills.
• Experience supporting international or distributed teams.
