IT Project Manager (Cloud & Datacenter Projects)

About the role

An experienced IT Project Manager is sought to lead and manage technology projects that deliver committed results to the client within agreed quality, timeline and budget criteria. The role covers scope, resources, schedule, costs, quality and risks, and involves working with technical teams on cloud-based projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and monitor project activities across the full lifecycle
• Manage scope, requirements, deliverables and change requests, and allocate resources optimally
• Maintain communication with clients through status updates, reporting and stakeholder management
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and project management best practices
• Prepare status reports, KPIs, metrics and executive summaries for clients and internal stakeholders
• Facilitate planning, governance, tracking and control meetings
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues
• Work in traditional and Agile frameworks (PMI, Scrum, Agile) and collaborate on cloud projects (AWS, Azure and/or GCP)

Required profile

• More than 4 years of experience, including managing cloud and datacenter projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• Proven experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, quality and risks
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience preparing executive-level reports and giving regular client updates
• Advanced spoken and written English; preferred: valid U.S. visa and passport

Required skills

• Traditional and Agile project management (PMI, Scrum, Agile)
• Cloud projects (AWS, Azure and/or GCP)
• Basic SQL and JIRA
• Preferred: Scrum Master or PMI certification

Work schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, in a hybrid model based in Colombia.
