IT Project Manager – Technical Projects & AI Solutions

About the role

Coupa is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of critical technical projects, including AI‑driven software initiatives. You will coordinate across Business Partners, Portfolio Leads, Operational Leadership, Business Applications, and Data Analytics teams to ensure seamless execution and transparent communication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of technical projects, from discovery and selection through implementation and deployment.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource allocations, risk mitigation strategies and budget forecasts using Jira, Confluence and Coupa’s SDLC framework.
• Manage projects that evaluate and implement AI‑powered software, coordinating data, modeling and integration requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between Business Applications, Data Analytics and Portfolio Management teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Provide transparent status updates, risk reports and dependency tracking to business stakeholders and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex IT projects, preferably with AI or machine‑learning components.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, capable of coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
