IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to be based in our Bogotá office and own day‑to‑day IT support for our Americas region, covering offices in Bogotá, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and New York, with occasional coverage of other global locations. You will be the primary on‑site point of contact, working autonomously with a problem‑solving mindset and reporting to the Global IT Director.

Key responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face and remote support for macOS and Windows devices across the Americas offices.
• Set up equipment for new hires, meeting rooms and perform routine maintenance.
• Manage hardware lifecycle, maintain accurate asset records and troubleshoot network issues (Wi‑Fi, switching, basic firewall and access point configuration).
• Support audio/visual and meeting‑room technology (Teams, Google Meet, Zoom and related hardware).
• Administer Microsoft 365 applications, monitor tickets in Freshservice and ensure basic endpoint security.
• Document fixes, maintain IT documentation and assist the Global IT Director with reporting and projects.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in IT support or engineering, preferably supporting multiple offices or regions.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish (minimum B2 level).
• Ability to work independently across time zones with minimal supervision.
• Hybrid work arrangement with at least two days per week in the Bogotá office.

Required skills

• macOS and Windows operating systems.
• Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tools.
• Networking fundamentals (Wi‑Fi, switching, firewalls, access points).
• AV/meeting‑room technology (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet) and related hardware.
• Endpoint security basics (antivirus, firewall configuration, patching).
• Ticketing system Freshservice; familiarity with Jamf or Intune is a plus.
