Senior Auditor, Global Technology Audit and Assurance

About the role

The Senior Auditor, Global Technology Audit & Assurance will lead and execute information systems audits across Abbott’s international and domestic operations, focusing on security and control adequacy for applications and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and perform IT and OT audits, assessing design, development, and compliance of security solutions.
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Maintain comprehensive audit workpapers using department tools and standards.
• Communicate audit status, findings, and issues proactively to key stakeholders.
• Stay current on emerging security risks, research new technologies, and reference recognized frameworks.

Required profile

• BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, MIS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in information systems audit or security assessments at a top‑tier consulting or public accounting firm.
• Up to 75% travel to international and domestic sites.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Auditing experience with major ERP systems such as SAP.
• Auditing of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, NIST frameworks.
• Understanding of network and system security technologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., HCISPP, CHPS, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CIPP).
