IT Support Specialist – Tier 1 (Junior)

About the role

A junior IT Support Specialist (Tier 1) is sought in Bogotá, Colombia, for a hybrid position (on-site Tuesday to Thursday, remote Monday and Friday). No previous experience is required; the role suits recent graduates or entry-level professionals interested in technology, troubleshooting and helping users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end users.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Assist with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Support password resets, user accounts and access requests.
• Help configure computers, printers and mobile devices.
• Document incidents and requests in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to specialized IT teams.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or student in the final semesters of Systems Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• No previous professional experience required.
• English B2 or higher (required).
• Strong communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Bogotá.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and computer troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with networking and Active Directory is a plus.
