IT Technician

About the role

Zimmer Biomet is seeking an IT Technician to deliver customer‑first technical support for a range of IT assets, including end‑user devices, networks, security and communication systems. The role is based on‑site five days a week and may involve occasional after‑hours or weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person and virtual support for end‑user hardware, software, and network issues.
• Execute and help define IT processes such as change and incident management, software installation, and system configuration.
• Enforce global and local security policies to protect company information assets.
• Document support tickets and resolutions to improve team efficiency.
• Assist other IT staff with projects and equipment moves as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with specialized IT training or certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Customer‑first attitude with strong urgency to resolve issues.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and across organizational levels.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and multitasking skills.

Required skills

• End‑user IT technology support.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (preferred).
• Technical IT certifications (preferred).
