Jr. Analyst, Global Finance Master Data

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Junior Analyst for its Global Finance Master Data function in Bogotá, Colombia. The role supports the maintenance, governance and quality of financial master data across global business processes and systems, working with Finance, Data Governance, Technology and business stakeholders. It is a 6-month fixed-term position.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and validate Finance Master Data in line with policies, procedures and governance standards.
• Maintain financial master data objects such as cost centers, general ledger accounts, profit centers, internal orders and exchange rates.
• Process requests through SAP MDG and other approved platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Perform data quality reviews and help identify and resolve master data issues.
• Support internal controls, audit activities and compliance requirements, including SOX-related processes.
• Maintain documentation, work instructions and process records.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation and digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• 0-2 years of professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, Master Data Management, Business Operations or related areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Preferred: knowledge of Finance Master Data Management and Data Governance principles.
• Preferred: SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP platforms, and familiarity with Power BI.
• Preferred: exposure to continuous improvement methods and knowledge of automation tools such as Power Platform, Alteryx, UiPath, VBA, Python or Microsoft Copilot.
