Junior Technical Project Manager

About the role

OGS is looking for a Junior Technical Project Manager in Bogotá, working in a hybrid setting. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting the planning, coordination and execution of software and technology projects so they stay aligned with business goals. It suits someone with strong organisational skills and a technical mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and track technical and software development projects from planning through delivery.
• Partner with engineers, product teams and business stakeholders to keep projects on track.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks and status reporting.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and help remove roadblocks.
• Support Agile project delivery and continuous process improvement.
• Contribute to emerging technology and AI-focused projects.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in project management, technical project management, product operations, Scrum Master or similar roles.
• Experience coordinating software, technology or digital projects.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
• Knowledge of software development processes and technical workflows.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work independently and handle competing priorities.
• Nice to have: exposure to AI-related initiatives, a technical background in engineering, data or analytics, and Agile, Scrum or PMP certification.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, Asana or similar tools.
• Exposure to Python or general coding concepts.
