Key Account Manager – Mining Sector

About the role

Caldic is seeking a Key Account Manager I to lead commercial development within the mining sector in Colombia. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships with strategic mining clients, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering high‑value solutions together with technical and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop strategic accounts in the mining industry.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities.
• Design and execute growth strategies for the assigned portfolio.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure post‑sale client follow‑up.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with technical, operations and customer service teams.
• Monitor market trends and detect emerging opportunities.
• Achieve sales, profitability and growth targets.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering or a related field.
• Proven B2B sales experience in the mining industry.
• Track record of managing key accounts and developing new business.
• Strong knowledge of mining solutions or products.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship‑building and results‑orientation.
