Lab Integration and Field Trial (LIFT) Sr Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lab Integration and Field Trial (LIFT) Senior Engineer to support the CableOS project, an innovative software‑based network solution for broadband providers. The role involves integration, testing, qualification, and field trials of hardware and software components across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Support CableOS client lab integration, testing, qualifications, and field trials.
• Communicate project status and expectations with marketing, engineering, sales, and clients.
• Create and maintain project plan documentation.
• Test new software and hardware, report and track defects.
• Design, execute, and lead client field trials; train clients and field service teams on operation and troubleshooting.
• Assist with deployments and provide technical support as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of networking hardware and software design, IP switching and routing protocols, TCP/IP stack.
• Advanced English proficiency; additional language a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively within NAC and LATAM regions and work in NAC time zones.

Required skills

• Linux‑based server configuration and administration.
• Knowledge of DOCSIS, DVB/ATSC, CMTS, BNG configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with PON configuration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with NFV and SDN technologies.
