Legal Analyst – Latin America Media Distribution

About the role

The Legal Analyst will support NBCUniversal’s Latin America business by handling a broad range of legal matters related to the distribution of the company’s channels and services across the region. The role also involves developing processes and templates to improve the efficiency of the legal function.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal analysis and advice on distribution agreements, licensing, and regulatory compliance for NBCUniversal channels and streaming services in Latin America.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and related documentation with partners, broadcasters, and service providers.
• Collaborate with internal business teams to ensure legal considerations are integrated into commercial strategies.
• Develop and maintain standardized legal templates, checklists, and workflow processes to streamline operations.
• Monitor changes in media and entertainment law across the region and advise stakeholders accordingly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a law firm or media company.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.

Required skills

• Legal drafting and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of media, entertainment, and distribution law in Latin America.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
