Legal Client Support - Immigration Assistant

About the role

Emapta is hiring a bilingual client support professional (Immigration Assistant - Client Status Representative) in Bogotá to support a US-based law firm that handles first-party insurance litigation, including hurricane and storm damage claims, personal injury and insurance disputes. The role connects clients with legal teams, applies knowledge of insurance litigation and uses bilingual communication to keep cases moving. It is an indefinite-term type contract, onsite at Calle 98, Bogotá, with a Monday to Friday schedule of 9:00 to 6:00.

Key responsibilities

• Give clients accurate, timely updates on the status of their insurance claims or legal cases.
• Handle a high volume of inbound client calls while keeping strong customer service standards.
• Resolve client complaints, concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships through active listening and clear communication.
• Work with attorneys and legal support staff to advance cases and ensure accurate client communication.
• Carry out clerical and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience as a legal assistant or customer support in the legal field.
• Strong understanding of first-party insurance litigation, including client communication and case processes.
• Excellent customer service and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications.
