Legal Intake Specialist (English/Spanish Bilingual)

About the role

Bush & Bush Law Group, a personal injury law firm, is looking for a bilingual English/Spanish Legal Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for potential clients. The role is central to delivering good customer service and making sure cases are properly evaluated and processed. It is a full-time position with weekday shifts of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM Central Time; weekend availability may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from clients involved in auto accidents, gather information about the accident and their needs, and show empathy while staying professional.
• Explain legal processes and the firm's services, answer questions and collect and document details to help attorneys evaluate cases.
• Manage several tasks at once in a fast pace, updating electronic systems and prioritizing urgent client needs.
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records and organize client information so lawyers can access it easily, using Excel and similar tools.
• Provide administrative support to legal professionals and help prepare and organize legal documents.

Required profile

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Previous experience in a legal environment or in customer service/intake is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassionate attitude toward clients in need.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with case management software is a plus
