Legal Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Coordinator to join our team and support operations across Hispanic America. In this role you will act as a key partner to the business, providing legal and commercial support, coordinating contract reviews, identifying potential risks and ensuring alignment with internal policies and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review, coordinate and support the negotiation of commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with Alfa Laval’s policies, terms and conditions.
• Identify and assess potential legal, commercial and compliance risks, recommending appropriate actions and escalating matters when necessary.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance requirements, including export control and data protection regulations (GDPR).
• Review and map existing commercial contracts and purchase orders to identify gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to address legal matters and support business operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in legal, contractual or commercial compliance-related functions.
• Previous experience working in a multinational environment.
• Understanding of commercial contracts, contractual risk management and corporate compliance.
• Intermediate level of English and strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
