Logistics Coordinator

About the role

An organized, proactive and adaptable Logistics Coordinator is sought to support daily transportation operations and the end-to-end execution of shipments across different transportation modes. The role covers creating and updating loads in the Transportation Management System (TMS), tracking shipments, coordinating pickups and deliveries, managing shipping documents and liaising with carriers, customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage load entries in the TMS based on customer tenders, and assign carriers or drivers to loads under the guidance of senior operations team members.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses, facilities, carriers and other stakeholders.
• Track active shipments and give timely status updates to internal teams.
• Collect, review and upload shipping documents such as Bills of Lading (BOL) and Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Answer inbound calls and handle general inquiries from carriers and customers professionally.
• Identify and resolve minor operational issues and delays, escalating complex situations when necessary.
• Maintain accurate shipment information and data integrity across operational systems.
• Work with warehouse personnel to confirm operating hours and special handling requirements.
• Provide administrative and operational support to Dispatchers and Account Managers as needed.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, freight brokerage or shipment coordination.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Professional communication with carriers, customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to learn and work with transportation management systems and logistics platforms.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
