Logistics Coordinator – Ocean & Air (Medellín)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end shipments across air, ocean and ground transportation. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective operations while delivering excellent service to clients and maintaining compliance with international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute import/export shipments by air, ocean and ground.
• Book cargo and manage shipments from origin to final delivery.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation such as bills of lading, invoices and packing lists.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and Incoterms.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, carriers and vendors.
• Validate rates, support billing processes and coordinate with pricing teams.
• Maintain accurate records and follow operational SOPs.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of import/export processes, Incoterms and customs documentation.
• Strong English communication skills (minimum B2 level).
• High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability.

Required skills

• Use of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), preferably CargoWise.
