Managed Services Lead Consultant, MXDR

About the role

The Managed Services Lead Consultant will join Check Point's Infinity Global Services MXDR team to protect customers' digital assets, data and critical systems. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to assess risk, design security strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security dimensions such as intrusion detection, file integrity, endpoint protection, log management and SIEM solutions for multiple clients.
• Analyze security events using log data and open‑source intelligence to differentiate legitimate incidents from false positives.
• Develop, implement and maintain environment‑specific rules, alerts and dashboards in SIEM tools using custom queries.
• Provide on‑call support, manage ticketing processes and communicate security alerts to clients and internal teams.
• Lead and mentor SOC analysts, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of recent cybersecurity experience, preferably as a SOC Analyst.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and ability to work well in a team.
• Two cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, Security+, CEH) or one advanced certification.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, etc.).
• Proficiency in Azure cloud security and public‑cloud environments.
• Familiarity with XDR/EDR solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Check Point Harmony Endpoint.
• Scripting/programming knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.
• Experience in vulnerability management, threat hunting, detection engineering and incident response.
