Manager, Billing, Credit & Collections

About the role

Equinix is seeking a Manager to own global billing, credit and collections operations for its Latin American markets. The role combines execution with continuous improvement, driving financial discipline, cash‑flow optimization and risk mitigation across a high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end billing, credit and collections processes for LATAM countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with local tax legislation.
• Manage and develop cross‑functional teams of 10+ members, fostering high performance and continuous development.
• Oversee invoice generation, dispute management, credit risk assessment, collections strategy and customer communications.
• Drive adoption of new processes, automation, reporting tools and system transformations while ensuring SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal and Deal Management to enable sound deal structures and disciplined revenue realization.

Required profile

• Fluent English (mandatory) and solid experience in billing, credit, collections or financial operations, preferably with a LATAM focus.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian taxation and fiscal/regulatory requirements across Latin American countries.
• Proven leadership of large, high‑volume operational teams (10+ direct/indirect reports).
• Experience in structured corporate environments with emphasis on compliance, controls and audit readiness.
• Demonstrated success leading process transformation, automation or system implementation initiatives.
