Manager, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

About the role

As part of the Global Operations Centre, you will collaborate with teams across the United States, Europe and Asia to deliver high‑impact data solutions for WPP Media. The role focuses on building stable data architecture, automating ETL pipelines and creating interactive visualisations for marketing efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define business requirements and design stable data architecture supporting marketing reporting.
• Develop, test and deploy automated ETL processes using SQL and Python scripts.
• Extract and validate datasets from multiple media platforms and partner sources.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI, Datorama, Tableau and other visualisation tools.
• Design and execute test plans, automated validation scripts and perform data reconciliation.
• Document workflows, data schemas, QA processes and change logs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Business Intelligence, preferably in a digital marketing or media agency.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work in an onshore/offshore model.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Advanced Power BI expertise; experience with Datorama, Tableau or Looker.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Python (or R) for ETL scripting, test automation and data manipulation.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with ad‑tech platforms such as Google Campaign Manager, social platforms and DSPs.
• Exposure to cloud services (Google Cloud Platform – BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow – or AWS/Azure).
