Manager, Employee Listening

About the role

The Manager, Employee Listening will join Johnson & Johnson’s HR Data & Intelligence team to design, execute, and evolve employee listening programs. The role blends traditional survey methods with continuous, experience‑driven approaches to turn workforce signals into actionable insights that shape HR strategy and leadership decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver core employee listening initiatives, including annual engagement surveys, lifecycle surveys, and targeted pulse studies.
• Ensure high data quality, relevance, and methodological rigor across all listening programs.
• Integrate active feedback, passive signals, and contextual data to provide a holistic view of employee experience.
• Collaborate with data science, AI, and knowledge‑management partners to operationalize insights at scale.
• Support the transition from periodic surveys to an always‑on, product‑oriented listening capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in employee listening, engagement survey design, or related HR analytics functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive action on insights.

Required skills

• Experience with survey methodology and data quality management.
• Familiarity with integrating multiple data sources (e.g., active feedback, passive signals).
• Understanding of HR analytics, workforce intelligence, and responsible AI principles.
