Manager, Salesforce Engineering

About the role

Kaseya, a provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software for MSPs and internal IT organizations, is looking for a Manager, Salesforce Engineering to lead its Salesforce development team. The role provides technical leadership, mentors and develops engineering talent, and oversees the delivery of high-quality, scalable Salesforce solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Salesforce engineering team, providing mentorship, technical guidance, performance support and career development.
• Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of Salesforce engineering projects within timelines, scope, budget and business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership across Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components and integrations with other enterprise systems.
• Develop engineering strategies aligned with business goals and partner with stakeholders to turn requirements into technical specifications.
• Establish best practices including code reviews, testing standards, documentation and quality assurance.
• Monitor platform performance, efficiency, scalability and user experience.
• Oversee DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, source control and deployment management.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements, and recommend improvements to business processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce engineering or development.
• 2+ years in a Salesforce development leadership or management role.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills; ability to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, Salesforce integrations and data migration.
• Salesforce architecture and products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ.
• APIs, middleware, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins or Gearset, and Agile/Scrum.

Preferred: advanced degree, Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, JavaScript Developer I), data migration and ETL tool experience.
