Marketing Assistant

About the role

Ilkari, a privately held Dublin-based start-up focused on data sovereignty technology, is looking for a curious, organised and motivated Marketing Assistant to join its team in Colombia. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you will support local marketing initiatives across content, campaigns, customer visits, events and day-to-day operations, learning by doing and taking ownership of real responsibilities from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Sales enablement: prepare sales presentations, brochures and keynote decks, and coordinate logistics for customer visits to the data centre
• Create written content and visual assets such as social posts, presentations, banners and email campaigns, and support newsletters and press releases
• Coordinate logistics for events, trade shows and webinars, including registrations, materials and on-site execution
• Support PR and media coordination, monitoring coverage and tracking brand mentions
• Support partnership marketing and coordination with industry associations
• Localise content for the Colombian market and compile campaign performance updates and market intelligence
• Coordinate with procurement for supplier quotes, purchase orders and vendor onboarding, and maintain inventory of marketing materials

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, Graphic Design or a related field
• Previous marketing, communications or customer-facing experience is an advantage but not essential
• Native-level Spanish with excellent written and verbal skills; comfortable communicating professionally in English
• Organised, proactive, creative and adaptable, with a good eye for design and brand consistency

Required skills

• Nice to have: Canva, Adobe Express, social media scheduling tools and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Nice to have: HubSpot and familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot
