Member of Technical Staff - Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to lead legal research initiatives for a global software development leader. The role is fully remote and focuses on interpreting complex legal and regulatory frameworks, then translating those insights into technical solutions that support product development and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Design and build technical frameworks or tools that automate legal research workflows.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and guidelines for legal compliance.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience in legal research methodologies and regulatory analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to convert legal concepts into actionable technical requirements.
