Microsoft Infrastructure Administrator (AD, Entra ID & Exchange)

About the role

SoftwareOne is looking for a Microsoft Infrastructure Administrator to manage and optimise core Microsoft platforms in hybrid environments. You will work closely with security, infrastructure and advanced support teams to ensure the availability, security and operational excellence of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Active Directory in enterprise settings.
• Manage identity services, including Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid synchronization.
• Operate Microsoft Exchange (both Online and on‑premise) messaging platforms.
• Oversee associated services such as DNS, DHCP, Intune and Teams.
• Implement operational best practices, security standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document processes, architecture and support cloud migration or transformation projects.

Required profile

• Technical or professional degree in Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience managing Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange in production environments.
• Experience with incident management and ITIL‑based operations.
• Knowledge of hybrid (on‑premise + cloud) environments and security tools like Microsoft Purview.
