Operations Project Manager (LATAM PMO)

About the role

NielsenIQ is looking for an experienced Operations Project Manager to join its LATAM PMO team in Bogota. You will own and lead end-to-end operational projects and programs across several countries, working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver implementation, process improvements and business transformation initiatives. The role covers planning, coordination, monitoring and delivery of complex projects, with a focus on risk identification, change management and smooth transition to business-as-usual.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project execution from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, governance structures and communication plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional and multicultural teams across multiple LATAM markets.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and align priorities, risks, dependencies and deliverables.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.
• Monitor project performance and report progress to senior leadership.
• Drive change management initiatives and manage documentation, status reporting, lessons learned and continuous improvement.
• Support operational excellence through process optimization and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Advanced English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• PMP certification is required.
• Experience managing projects across multiple countries and with multicultural teams.
• Proven experience in risk management, stakeholder management, change management and process improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI, Agile, Scrum and/or PDCA.
• Advanced Excel and project planning tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet.
