People Relations Partner – Colombia

About the role

As a People Relations Partner you will support H&M’s business in Colombia by delivering consistent, compliant People Relations practices. You will manage labor‑law matters, employee cases, workplace wellbeing and collaborate across functions to create a safe and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Colombian labor laws, regulations and collective agreements.
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with employee representatives, works councils and unions.
• Provide expert advice on labor law, work environment, wellbeing and employee case management.
• Support managers in handling illness‑related cases, difficult conversations and coordinate with case managers.
• Manage all labor claims and disputes, including internal, administrative and judicial matters.
• Maintain the local grievance mechanism and ensure effective processes for employee complaints.
• Participate in change and strategic initiatives that require People Relations expertise.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to promote a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment.
• Facilitate training and communication for managers on labor relations, health & safety and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Colombian labor legislation and collective bargaining.
• Experience in employee relations, case management and internal investigations.
• Ability to advise and influence business leaders on People Relations matters.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
