People Solutions Consultant

About the role

The People Solutions Consultant delivers a range of operational tasks requiring significant People function administrative expertise. The role ensures processes are followed effectively and efficiently, working with People Advisory and within the British Council and with the MSP. It is an indefinite contract; candidates must have the legal right to work in the country at the time of application, and mobility, relocation and visa sponsorship are not provided.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver standardised HR operational processes such as onboarding, exit management, leave management, contract and letter issuance and myHR data integrity, against measurable targets of volume, time and/or cost.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in MyHR, working with colleagues inside and outside HR.
• Carry out operational and administrative duties arising from HR country legal requirements, ensuring compliance with global policies and local regulations.
• Work with the MSP and other HR functions and business leaders to improve the employee experience.
• Escalate service delivery issues regularly and identify improvements to core processes, recommending enhancements to People function leaders.
• Support the development and implementation of HR SOPs, knowledge articles, process maps and other process documents.
• Use data analytics to review processes, systems and touchpoints and make HR operations more effective.

Required profile

• Experience delivering HR operations as part of a geographically dispersed team.
• Knowledge of core HR policies and processes.
• Experience working with an outsourced service provider or an internal equivalent.
• Desirable: experience across multiple geographies and experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
