Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

About the role

This position supports personal injury attorneys by managing case transitions from pre‑litigation to trial, ensuring all documentation, deadlines, and court requirements are met. The role is based onsite in Bogota and works standard office hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage case setup, deadline tracking, and file organization using Filevine and court e‑filing portals.
• Coordinate discovery processes, including drafting, filing, serving, and tracking subpoenas and third‑party productions.
• Schedule and oversee depositions, CME/IME appointments, and mediations, handling logistics for reporters, interpreters, and clients.
• Prepare medical charts, track liens, and assist with settlement execution and case closure.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a litigation paralegal or senior legal assistant in a U.S. personal injury law firm.
• Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure, including discovery, depositions, CME, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex cases.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Filevine or similar case‑management software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Experience using LexisNexis for legal research.
