Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead for the Latin American region. The role combines strategic business development with deep technical expertise in operational safety and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure such as ports, airports and logistics hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development for ports, airports and logistics hubs in Latin America, turning client needs into technical cybersecurity and physical security proposals.
• Define and validate security architectures for complex IT/OT environments, including SCADA, PLC, traffic control and physical security systems.
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with international standards.
• Analyze logs, monitor high‑volume environments, and evaluate emerging technologies for security projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in security or cybersecurity for critical infrastructure (ports, airports, logistics hubs).
• Proven track record delivering at least two projects that include design, deployment and protection of IT/OT systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience; advanced English communication skills.

Required skills

• Design and implementation of IT/OT security architectures.
• Knowledge of international security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC).
• Experience with SCADA, PLC, CCTV, access‑control and other physical security technologies.
• Log management and monitoring in complex environments.
