Principal Environmental and Social Team Leader Colombia

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to lead our Environmental and Social team in Colombia, driving service delivery and growth for energy projects across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Environment and Social Resource Lead in the UK.
• Provide line‑management for the Colombian environmental and social team, including recruitment, performance management, training and wellbeing.
• Plan and allocate resources, develop the business plan for Latin America and the Caribbean, and expand service offerings.
• Coordinate responses to requests for proposals and lead the preparation of environmental and social assessments, due‑diligence and monitoring studies.
• Take financial responsibility as project principal/manager for large environmental and social contracts.

Required profile

• Significant experience as an environmental and/or social performance specialist in the energy sector.
• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client‑facing projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and social impact assessment processes and regulatory frameworks in Latin America.
• Ability to develop and implement business plans and grow service lines.
