Product Design Intern

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a motivated Product Design Intern to help shape its web and mobile experiences. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to create intuitive, user‑centric interfaces while exploring the intersection of AI and design.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product managers and engineers to design user‑friendly features across Sezzle’s platforms.
• Create wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, and interaction flows that balance clarity, aesthetics, and usability.
• Contribute to the design system by building and documenting reusable components in Figma.
• Participate in user research and testing to inform and refine designs.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Some hands‑on experience in UI/UX or product design through internships, coursework, freelance work, or personal projects.
• Strong communication skills in English and a passion for building accessible, inclusive experiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma for interface design and prototyping.
• Experience using Claude or equivalent large language model tools to enhance productivity.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and React (optional but a plus).
