Product Management Specialist, Data Compliance Onboarding

About the role

The Data Management Platforms team at Mastercard is looking for a Product Management specialist to manage day-to-day delivery of data compliance onboarding for its product and vendor teams. Reporting to the Director, Product Management - Data Compliance Onboarding, the role guides requests from intake and scope assessment through catalog alignment, integration readiness, exception coordination, testing, implementation handoff, status visibility and operational follow-through. It combines product management, privacy and compliance knowledge, technical fluency, data analysis and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily intake and onboarding work, assess scope and readiness, route requests, maintain status and ensure timely handoffs.
• Serve as a product-facing point of contact for platforms such as My Data and CTVS, explaining requirements, catalog prerequisites, integration pathways and dependencies.
• Coordinate technical readiness with product owners and Technology and Operations teams, including integration design, testing, deployment sequencing and issue resolution.
• Manage the exception lifecycle, including documentation, Privacy and Legal approvals, decision recording and tracking of expiry and reassessment.
• Monitor queues, backlog, overdue items, SLA exposure and integration health, and escalate risks and blockers.
• Turn customer and operational pain points into requirements, backlog items, defects and platform improvements.
• Improve workflows, templates, notifications and handoffs, using automation or low-code tools where appropriate.
• Create and maintain procedures, onboarding materials, training and stakeholder guidance.

Required profile

• Significant experience in product management, platform enablement, technical program management, compliance operations or a related discipline in a complex organization.
• Understanding of data privacy, data-rights requests, personal-data obligations, exception governance and regulatory SLAs.
• Experience managing cross-functional delivery from discovery through testing, launch and operation.
• Comfortable partnering with technical teams and concepts such as APIs, file-based and event-driven integrations, the SDLC, testing, production support, logs and monitoring.
• Strong data and reporting skills, and the ability to design standardized, auditable processes and automate workflows.
• Clear communication of complex product, technical, privacy and operational issues, and strong ownership of competing priorities.
