Product Manager – Automotive Market Research

About the role

The Product Manager will lead comprehensive market research and competitive analysis for the Colombian passenger vehicle industry. This role provides data‑driven insights to shape product planning, vehicle configurations, pricing strategies, and market positioning, ensuring alignment with local demand and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing research of the Colombian passenger vehicle market, covering trends, consumer behavior, and emerging opportunities across segments such as sedans, SUVs, PHEVs, and BEVs.
• Monitor competitors’ models, specifications, pricing, sales performance, and commercial strategies; produce benchmark reports and market intelligence updates.
• Support local product planning by recommending vehicle configurations, trim levels, and equipment packages based on market demand and competitive benchmarks.
• Develop and review pricing strategies, perform price benchmarking, and translate market data into actionable recommendations for product differentiation and portfolio competitiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marketing or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in market research, automotive industry analysis, product planning, competitive intelligence, or pricing analysis.
• Strong knowledge of the Colombian automotive market and familiarity with electric and hybrid vehicle technologies.
• Advanced analytical abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
