Production Team Lead

About the role

The Production Team Lead supports the Production Manager in daily operations of the manufacturing area, overseeing a team to ensure efficient production, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure team members follow manufacturing procedures, safety and quality requirements.
• Plan resource allocation to meet production targets while maintaining safety and quality.
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment calibrated and functional.
• Monitor daily targets, production capacity, and inventory accuracy.
• Train new employees on machinery safety, SOPs, and quality procedures.
• Identify efficiency improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Record, investigate, and resolve non‑conformances and customer complaints.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and respond to accidents promptly.
• Manage, coach, and develop the team, set KPIs, and report on performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar production or warehouse leadership role.
• Knowledge of production, warehouse and logistics processes.
• Familiarity with management systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Required skills

• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Understanding of ISO 14001 environmental management system.
