Program & Mobilization Assistant – Generation Colombia (Fixed Term, Remote)

About the role

Generation Colombia is looking for a Program & Mobilization Assistant to support the execution of learner recruitment and selection processes and to deliver operational support for its training programs. This is a fixed-term position of 6 months, with possible extension depending on performance and confirmed funding, and it is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up with applicants by phone to check their progress and answer questions about their applications
• Answer personal and Generation Colombia emails, resolving inquiries directly or escalating them as needed
• Support participant selection, including profile review, coordination and interviews according to established criteria
• Record each applicant's status and progress accurately in the designated platforms and tools
• Support logistics such as delivering computers and other resources to selected participants
• Help organize and run events or information sessions for potential participants, including on-site or virtual support
• Work with instructors and Generation teams to support technical and employability training activities

Required profile

• 0-2 years of experience in program support, preferably in a nonprofit, startup or social enterprise
• Strong communication skills; fluency in Spanish and English is a plus
• Experience developing program procedures and resources, with attention to detail
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven approach, able to build metrics and analytics
• Ability to work independently while being a team player
• Belief in Generation's mission, preferably with experience working with disadvantaged communities
