Project Controller

About the role

Pond is looking for a Project Controller to join its growing Energy team in Bogotá. You will support engineering and construction projects for U.S. clients by monitoring costs, schedules, budgets and overall performance, working closely with project managers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support project setup, revenue recognition, billing and invoicing.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, schedules and cost reports in collaboration with project managers.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and performance, identify variances, trends and risks.
• Prepare cost reports, performance summaries, presentations and budget updates for management.
• Assist with project kick‑off meetings, agenda preparation, minutes and documentation.
• Review and process invoices, verify supporting documentation and support billing activities.
• Support project close‑out, final cost reviews and subcontractor payment verification.
• Maintain project controls dashboards, reports and tracking tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, Business or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project controls, cost tracking, financial reporting or similar environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical, mathematical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication and English (C1) proficiency.
