Project Manager (Cloud & Infrastructure)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead Alibaba Cloud infrastructure and cloud implementation projects in Bogotá. You will coordinate customers, vendors, contractors and cross‑functional technical teams to ensure successful delivery on time, within scope and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Program/Project Manager in planning and executing project activities.
• Gather, analyze and manage customer business requirements and prioritize tasks.
• Manage customer expectations, scope changes, issue resolution and escalations.
• Develop, monitor and control project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate activities with internal teams, customers, vendors, suppliers and contractors.
• Validate deliverables with stakeholders before project completion.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as requirement documents, meeting minutes and status reports.
• Communicate progress, risks, issues and overall status to all stakeholders.
• Manage supplier and vendor relationships, track progress and resolve issues.
• Ensure governance and compliance with Project Management Standards.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience managing cloud and IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience with data‑center deployments, servers, switches or enterprise networking.
• Experience delivering or coordinating cloud implementation projects, preferably Alibaba Cloud.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory).
