Project Manager – Cloud Modernization

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to lead cloud modernization initiatives for its clients. You will guide cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that align with contractual terms while driving innovation across hybrid cloud and AI landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables.
• Apply IBM’s Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, and Agile Delivery Model to ensure project success.
• Lead the modernization delivery team and coordinate with the client’s Project Manager and other stakeholders.
• Oversee cloud platform delivery on IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, RedHat OpenShift, or Google Cloud.
• Document and approve any changes to the Statement of Work.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud modernization, including continuous modernization, co‑existence architecture, refactoring, containerization, APIs, microservices, language and database conversion.
• Hands‑on experience delivering projects on at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong stakeholder management and team‑leadership capabilities.
