Project Manager - IT Solutions

About the role

NICE Software Solutions, one of the largest IT solutions multinationals, is looking for Project Managers through its partner Sutherland. The Project Manager plans and controls the activities needed to deliver projects to customers on time, on budget and with the required quality, even in the face of risks and issues. The role covers end-to-end project management using the NICE project management methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a project or programme of projects end to end, covering scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement/subcontractors and stakeholder management.
• Lead activities to foresee risks and issues and create mitigation plans; manage scope and scope changes.
• Manage all project phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closing.
• Use NICE project management methodology, processes, tools, techniques and templates, and prepare project plans and task definitions.
• Monitor, manage and communicate project progress, and act as the single point of contact for assigned projects.
• Represent NICE or the business unit in internal and external customer forums, advise clients and help develop roadmaps and long-range plans to maximise ROI.
• Manage issues proactively, keep stakeholders informed and escalate internally when needed.
• Report project status regularly, manage project-related revenue and forecasts, and measure quality and efficiency of deliveries.
• Provide feedback on lessons learned, suggest improvements and contribute to improving the project management methodology.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of current, proven experience as a PM leading teams in a matrix environment.
• Experience with international clients and with a consulting or software organisation delivering solutions to external clients.
• Experience managing the full software SDLC, including discovery, design and development of custom solutions.
• Proven ability to manage complex, dynamic and large simultaneous projects for external customers, and to build strong customer relationships.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in systems engineering and related fields.
• Proficiency in English; BPM certification desirable.
