Project Officer Nariño

About the role

We are looking for a Project Officer to join PUR’s Colombian team in Pasto. The role focuses on supervising and managing nature‑based projects that restore ecosystems, promote agroforestry and support local agricultural communities.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to field sites (≈75% of time) to monitor project quality, including tree health, nursery standards, data collection and producer engagement.
• Coordinate project schedules, gather and manage data for internal reporting, and ensure deliverables meet the standards set by the Communications & Marketing team.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and in‑field partners to implement activities, control implementation quality and support impact monitoring.
• Train and support field partners on technical models and best practices for ecosystem restoration and agroforestry.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination or field supervision, preferably in environmental or agricultural settings.
• Strong ability to collect, analyse and report data accurately.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Nariño region.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work with local partners and internal teams.
