Regional Account Manager – Government Cybersecurity

About the role

Trend Micro’s TrendAI™ division is looking for a Regional Account Manager to lead a portfolio of national government accounts in Colombia. You will drive the full sales cycle for high‑value cybersecurity solutions, working closely with distributors, integrators and public sector stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end sales process for government accounts, from early engagement through award and implementation handover.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene, especially for large, multi‑year opportunities.
• Engage in public procurement processes, including pre‑tender market studies and technical specification stages.
• Develop and defend opportunities above USD 1M, collaborating with pre‑sales engineers and channel partners.
• Build and sustain relationships at executive and technical deputy‑director levels, navigating political cycles.

Required profile

• 5+ years of network security sales experience with a proven record of closing $100k‑1M+ deals.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Colombian public sector procurement (SECOP) and existing relationships with national government entities.
• Experience selling through a two‑tier channel model (distributors and integrators).
• Background in cybersecurity or enterprise infrastructure solutions.
