Remote Airbnb Assistant – Guest & Property Management

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Remote Airbnb Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operations of a growing vacation‑rental business. The role involves handling guest communications, managing reservations across multiple platforms, and coordinating property readiness to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries via Airbnb, VRBO, SMS, email and other messaging channels.
• Manage booking requests, modifications, cancellations and special requests.
• Provide check‑in and check‑out instructions and assist guests throughout their stay.
• Maintain accurate calendars on all booking platforms, preventing double bookings.
• Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance teams and vendors to keep properties guest‑ready.
• Schedule turnovers, monitor cleaning completion and track maintenance issues until resolved.
• Update reservation records, spreadsheets and operational reports.
• Assist with updating property information, availability and pricing as directed.
• Support the owner with administrative tasks and help document SOPs.

Required profile

• Previous experience managing Airbnb or other short‑term rental properties.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities with high attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling multiple properties and conversations simultaneously.
• Proactive, reliable and solution‑oriented attitude.
• Experience coordinating cleaners and maintenance vendors is a plus.
