Remote Bookkeeper for Luxury Interior Design Firm

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a prestigious Dallas‑based luxury interior design firm. This fully remote role supports our growing project coordination team across El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Colombia, handling all core accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Process payroll, deductions, and employee payments
• Maintain accounting databases and generate financial reports
• Manage purchase orders, inventory, and vendor records
• Track orders, deliveries, freight, and vendor communications
• Coordinate with project managers regarding order status and updates
• Organize financial, purchasing, and project documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance

Required profile

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency with accounting software
• Experience with Studio Designer (preferred)
